Ahmed Nassef to Speak on Progressive Muslims

PMU co-founder and executive director Ahmed Nassef will be speaking at Stanford University on Saturday, February 12th in a program entitled "What is 'Progressive' Islam?"

The event is co-sponsored by American Muslims Intent on Learning and Activism (AMILA) and the Islamic Society of Stanford University (ISSU).

Other panelists who will also participate in the event are Imam Zaid Shakir, Maha El Genaidi, and Ahmed Kamal Sultan Salem.

Date: Saturday, February 12, 2005
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
(followed by a short reception)

The meeting will start PROMPTLY at 6:00 pm!

Place: Stanford University Campus, 113 Pigott Hall (450 Serra Mall, Bldg. 260).
